We ended off the 2011 academic year with our annual Awards Evening last night. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the God-given talents and abilities of every one of our pupils. Mr Preston reminded the assembly that we need to make use of every opportunity to be a difference-maker in our community. It was a wonderful occasion and we were reminded of the uniqueness and special character of our school.

The staff and Board of our school wish every family a blessed Christmas season and pray that you may know His love in a very real way during this holiday period.

We look forward to welcoming our children and our new pupils in 2012. School opens on 11 January and the school office and second-hand uniform shop will be open from Monday 9 January.

We have uploaded a black and white advertisement for the upcoming carnival. Help us advertise by printing out the ad and putting it up somewhere where people will see it. You could also put one up on the window of your car.

On 16 November 2010 Lanner House will be transformed into an imaginary world as all the learners will be dressing up as characters from their favourite books.  All the learners in the school will be participating in it, and the Primary and High school learners will be writing a book report on the book they read.

Bargain Books (Mountain Mill) will have a stall at the school that day.  Remember to bring some money to school and your My School card.  You will be broadening your imagination and supporting the school at the same time!

Have you booked your place for the imaginative trip around the world, with the pre-schoolers as your tour guide?  There are still tickets available for only R20 at the school office.  Be at the Biesenbach Hall in Church Street on Thursday, October 21 at 19h00 for a night you won't forget!

This fantastic piece of software provides us with the ability to communicate effectively with our parents and gives parents the option to customise what pieces of news they receive.
